How do I schedule an appointment?
Please contact us on the phone during our working hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.), Monday to Friday. We are closed on weekends.
Is counseling confidential?
Your confidentiality and etics are our number one priority. The identity, the personal data and everything else the client shares with the psychologist/psychotherapist during the sessions remains highly confidential professional secret.
What should I bring on the first session with the psychologist?
Please bring your complete medical documentation and findings of every previous checkups or hospital admission documents, if any.
Is psychotherapy efficient?
The efficiency of psychotherapy has been scientifically proved with scientific researches by the neuroscience and represents a proof-based method.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed to achieve the goal the client sought professional help for, is individual. That number of sessions depends on the disorder type or the type of difficulty that the client faces, the duration, the intensity, the personal potentials, the characteristics of her/his personality, the devotion during the whole process, as well as on the specializations and the professionalism the psychologist has, and of course, their mutual rapport.
Is there a possibility for collaboration with my family physician or psychiatrist?
Absolutely yes. We strongly encourage that kind of collaboration.
Is there any age restriction?
The Center is oriented in meeting the needs of the clients, therefore we offer wide range of mental health services, designated for all age categories: children, adolescents and adults.
How can I reschedule the appointment?
What about pharmacotherapy?
Psychologists and psychotherapists don’t prescribe pharmacotherapy.
In case the psychologist finds there are indications and need for medications for the specific client, after the psychological assessment has been made for the former, the patient in need is going to be directed to physician specialized in psychiatry. That should be done simultaneously with the ongoing psychoterapeutical treatment and counselling. We collaborate and communicate regularly with psychiatrists.
Pricing and insurance covering?
Please note that regarding the psychological services we offer, we do not accept insurance, i.e there is no possibility of covering the expenses by the National Health Insurance Fund.
